2. Overview
We process personal data only as far as necessary to operate this website, answer your enquiries and provide the Puttalyze Academy. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and do not embed social media plugins. Fonts are loaded from our own server.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.
Audience measurement: To understand which pages are read and how visitors find us (e.g. search engines or social networks), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no user profiles; results are only evaluated in aggregate (e.g. page views, country, referring website, device type). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process your details (name, e-mail address, status, optionally phone number and message) to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Form messages are stored in our database at Cloudflare. E-mails to addresses of our domains are received by our e-mail provider STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, and partly forwarded to our mailboxes. We delete enquiries once they are settled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Puttalyze Academy (user account)
For the Academy we store your e-mail address, optionally your name, your password (only as an encrypted hash), your language, the period of your trial and access, redeemed invitation codes and your learning progress. For security we log changes to access rights. The legal basis is the performance of the user agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is stored in a database at Cloudflare. You can have your account deleted at any time by writing to info@puttalyze.com; we then delete the data unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies: "pz_session" keeps you logged in to the Academy (up to 30 days or until you log out) and "pz_lang" remembers your language (up to 1 year). The legal basis is Section 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. No consent is required for these cookies.
7. Payment
Once paid memberships are offered, payments will be processed by a payment service provider. We will name the provider here before payments are enabled.
8. External content and links
The podcast episodes are currently loaded only when you press play, from our previous website puttalyze-app.com (Telekom website builder); your IP address is transmitted to that server. Links to the App Store, to eCoach360° (Kajabi) and to The Global Golf Network lead to third-party services whose privacy policies apply.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please contact info@puttalyze.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
